Welcome to the Kids Alley volunteer team! Our mission is “Building Strong Hearts, Strong Minds, and Strong Bodies” by providing support and resources to at-risk and under-resourced children from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

As a volunteer, you play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for the children we serve. To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, we require all volunteers to complete the following training and clearance procedures:

For Volunteers Aged 14-17:

• CARI (Child Abuse Record Information) Check: State-required clearance to ensure eligibility to work with children.
• Safe Sanctuary Training: Comprehensive training on creating and maintaining a safe environment, with a focus on recognizing and responding to signs of abuse
• Fingerprinting: An additional level of background check (Criminal History Record Check) is required for all volunteers.
